Jazz: Traditional jazz based on the C.D.T.A. syllabus, 6 yrs. +, is introduced to dancers who enjoy movement to current upbeat music. The class is divided into warm-up focusing on flexibility and cardio, jazz steps and kicks across the floor, leaps and turns. Dancers are given combinations on a weekly basis to develop linking of steps together, understanding dance patterns and working with other dancers in a “group” on stage.
